Ingredients
Cake layers
- 3/4 cups butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Buttercream
- 2 cups butter
- 7-8 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4-5 tbsp milk
For filling
- two 13.4 oz cans of dulce de leche
- 1 lb strawberries, washed, dried and sliced
